Bella Hadid is officially a blonde.

The supermodel, 22, has been flirting with a summer makeover in recent months, slowly transitioning her dark hair through a soft, honey-blond color but just took the full plunge.

Hadid recently posted a photo to her Instagram Story alongside her horse Leonardo, but it’s her bright blond hair that makes her practically unrecognizable.

Both Bella and sister Gigi Hadid are natural blondes, but only the older sister stuck with her roots into adulthood. However, Bella signaled a returned sparked by influential photographer Mert Alas back in March.

“Back to dirty blonde, back to my roots ! Per @mertalas wishes,” she captioned a photo on set in Turkey with a caramel-colored hairstyle. Since then, Hadid has shown off her lighter ends in Cannes and on recent red carpets.

While it seems that Hadid has wanted to go to the lighter side for a while, she did indicate that she was on set with V Magazine and it’s possible her lighter hair was simply temporary for the shoot.

Perhaps she’ll make it permanent this fall.
