Seems Margot Robbie is a fan of “method dressing” too.

At Thursday’s LA photocall for “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” the 29-year-old actress was the spitting image of late ’60s starlet Sharon Tate, whom she plays in the film, wearing a long-sleeved white Derek Lam gown with a decidedly retro feel along with chunky gold hoop earrings from Pandora ($150).

Robbie’s look could’ve been plucked straight from 1969’s “Twelve Plus One,” Tate’s final film before her murder at the hands of Charles Manson’s followers that same year.

In a scene from the movie, the blond beauty wears a white wrap dress with similarly blousy sleeves and a near-identical waist sash.

It’s not the first time Robbie has taken style cues from her onscreen alter ego; while promoting the Quentin Tarantino flick in Cannes in May, the Oscar nominee wore her hair in face-framing braids just like Tate did at the same film festival back in 1968.
