“Good Day New York” bid adieu to entertainment reporter Baruch Shemtov on Friday.
Shemtov announced he’s leaving the Fox 5 morning show to return to Harvard Business School in August.
He joined the show four years ago.
“I’ve loved every minute on ‘Good Day New York’ and Fox 5. This has been the ride of a lifetime. I’m going to miss getting to work with my best friends every single day and my interaction with the New York audience,” he told Page Six.
But, he added, “I plan to stay in TV in the future — but this time it’ll be a part of a bigger business strategy that includes real estate and hospitality.”
