“I will be releasing my first book on February 4th with @harpercollinsus,” the pop star-turned-designer posted on Instagram Wednesday. “I have been working so hard on it – I have opened my heart up in a way I never have before and now I can’t wait to share it with the world.”

The untitled book will profile her life as a pop star, reality star, head of a fashion empire, and mother.

“From her popular television show ‘Newlyweds,’ to a very public divorce, starring on the big screen and topping the Billboard charts, finding new love, raising a family, and running a successful business empire, her new book will be a candid, inspiring, and behind-the-scenes look at how she chose to learn from each difficult moment, evolve musically, become a more fearless businesswoman, and consistently shatter all expectations of who she was ‘supposed’ to be,” the description read.

Simpson, 39, was married to 98 Degrees frontman Nick Lachey from 2002 to 2006. Their dating life was a hot topic among pop music fans everywhere and their marriage was one of the first celebrity relationships to get the reality TV treatment with their MTV show. After their divorce, she married NFL player Eric Johnson in 2012. The couple have three kids; 7-year-old Maxwell, 6-year-old Ace and newborn Birdie Mae.
