Kevin Spacey grilled by Scotland Yard over sexual assault allegations

Scotland Yard investigators have questioned Kevin Spacey about the sexual assault allegations he’s facing in London, according to a report.

The British cops grilled Spacey, who is accused of assaulting six different men between 1996 and 2013, in the US sometime in May, Variety reported Saturday.

Officers from the London Metropolitan Police force’s Complex Case team conducted the interview, which Spacey voluntarily submitted to, the department said in a statement to the entertainment magazine.

“He was not arrested. Inquiries are ongoing,” the statement says.

The former “House of Cards” star has not been formally charged over the allegations, which surfaced in late 2017.

Spacey lived in London for years while working as artistic director of the Old Vic theater, where 20 men have accused Spacey.

The theater found in an internal probe that Spacey’s star status “may have prevented people, and in particular junior staff or young actors, from feeling that they could speak up or raise a hand for help.”
