Allison Williams and husband Ricky Van Veen split after 4 years of marriage

Girls” star Allison Williams and husband Ricky Van Veen have split after nearly four years of marriage, Page Six has learned.

In a joint statement, the couple told us exclusively: “With mutual love and respect, we have made the decision to separate as a couple. We are grateful for the friendship that we have and will continue to have.”

The two are “distinctly different,” according to a close friend — while they haven’t been spotted out together in months.

A source familiar with the splitting couple told us: “Every time I’ve seen Allison out recently, Ricky’s been nowhere to be seen.”

Indeed, the last time they were actually seen in public was at the Oscars in March 2018.

The pair were married in September 2015 in a lavish ceremony at Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyo., officiated by Tom Hanks. Williams’ dad, MSNBC host Brian Williams, walked her down the aisle watched by stars including “Girls” creator and star Lena Dunham, Katy Perry, John Mayer, Jemima Kirke, Barry Diller, Seth Meyers and Zosia Mamet.

Williams, 31, rose to fame in the HBO hit playing uptight New Yorker Marnie Michaels — while Van Veen, 38, is currently Head of Global Creative Strategy at Facebook.

He made a fortune after co-founding comedy brand CollegeHumor and the video platform Vimeo.

And a source told us: “Allison really is Type A, a real go-getter. while Ricky is far more relaxed and laid-back. Things just haven’t been going well recently.”

The couple — who met in 2011 at a “Bachelor” viewing party — shared a $2 million apartment in Chelsea.

However, we’re told they’re now living apart.

Williams — who starred in Jordan Peele’s breakout hit “Get Out” — recently caused a stir with her Netflix horror movie “The Perfection,” which viewers claimed is so gruesome it made them actually ill. She’s been filming a survival thriller, “Horizon Line,” about a couple stranded on an island after a plane crash.
