Matt Lauer shopping Hamptons mansion for $44M after finalizing divorce

Matt Lauer’s Hamptons mansion, Strongheart Manor, is going up for sale for about $44 million now that his divorce from Annette Roque is finalized, sources said.

Lauer and Roque are about to list the ironically named North Haven estate.

The once-happy couple bought the stunning estate from actor Richard Gere for an eye-watering $36.5 million in 2016.

At the time, the property’s listing broker, Corcoran’s Susan Breitenbach, called it a match made in heaven.

But today: “Drones have been circling the estate from above, and photographers have been circling it from the ground as well” to list the property, a top broker said.

Lauer and Roque have continued to reside at the home with their kids.

The stunning, gated property sits on 6.2 landscaped acres, with 300 feet on the ocean. The 12-bedroom, 12-bathroom mansion dates to 1902 and has been restored in what sources call “eco-chic.”

The property includes a separate tea house on the edge of a pond with a bridge, plus its own basketball court, a private deep-water dock and a pool that faces Peconic Bay.

The property was first listed at $65 million when it came to market in 2013.

Roque is planning to stay in the Hamptons with her children, sources said, while Lauer will now get his own place.

Page Six reported this month that Roque will get up to $20 million in assets in the divorce, plus she’ll keep the couple’s 40-acre Hamptons horse farm in Water Mill.

The couple bought that property, now called Bright Side Farm, for $3.5 million in 2012.

Page Six exclusively reported the couple finally hammered out their divorce settlement, which will be finalized by a judge.

The couple split after Lauer was fired from NBC in 2017 following sexual misconduct claims.

Viewers noticed that Lauer wasn’t included in a “Today” 25-year anniversary video on Thursday.

Reps did not comment.
