Journalist and children’s book author Raakhee Mirchandani has sold a kids’ book to Little, Brown.
“Hair Twins” is a picture book “about the special bond between a Sikh father and daughter as they go through their daily hair routine.”
It’ll be illustrated by Holly Hatam.
The writer told us the book is “a love letter to my husband, a proud turban-wearing Sikh-American and a celebration of the sweet relationship between a father and his daughter.”
Her first book — 2018’s “Super Satya Saves the Day” — was also inspired by her daughter, Satya.
Mirchandani is also an editor at Dow Jones.
