Lisa Vanderpump skipping the ‘RHOBH’ reunion

Lisa Vanderpump will be attending a reunion, but it won’t be with “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

While Vanderpump’s co-stars will be filming for the Bravo show on Wednesday, she will not be in attendance. Viewers know the restaurateur, 58, has had a rough “RHOBH” season after she was accused of leaking a story about Dorit Kemsley to the press, which started the saga known to fans as Puppygate. She later claimed that she was “bullied off the show.”

“The only reunion that she has planned today is a long-awaited one-on-one with the mayor of the city of Los Angeles at his residence to kick off Pride Week in the city,” an insider told Page Six on Wednesday, noting that Vanderpump is “not planning on doing both” events as she is also attending Mayor Eric Garcetti’s L.A. Pride Garden Party.

“While the other girls are bashing her, she has a host of topics that she is eager to speak to the mayor about,” the insider explained. “She has a lot more important issues to address, none of which are the ‘Housewives.'”

Vanderpump recently released a PSA for The Trevor Project, telling Page Six earlier this week in a statement: “Having lost my brother just over a year ago to suicide, filming this most recent Trevor Project public service announcement was very emotional for me and a cause very close to my heart.”

Until now, Adrienne Maloof was the only “RHOBH” star to skip a reunion taping, in Season 3. She was not asked back for Season 4 as a result, with Andy Cohen telling viewers at the time: “Not only is she absent tonight, but she won’t be on the show next season. Adrienne Maloof’s final act as a ‘Real Housewife’ is not showing up tonight.”
