Brooke Shields sues Charlotte Tilbury over ‘Brooke S’ eyebrow pencil

Brooke Shields wants to keep her eyebrows to herself.

Shields, 53, filed a suit against beauty brand Charlotte Tilbury, claiming that the company’s “Brooke S” shade of “Brow Lift” eyebrow pencil is a direct attempt to cash in on her iconic arches, TMZ reported.

“Brooke Shields’ career as a model, actress, author and entrepreneur spanning decades has made Brooke (and her eyebrows) a household name,” a rep for the star told Page Six Style in a statement. “In fact, Brooke’s eyebrows have been her trademark since Time magazine declared her ‘the ’80s look’ in 1981.”

Continued the rep, “Charlotte Tilbury and its related retailers have attempted to profit off of Brooke’s signature look by stamping Brooke’s name on an eyebrow pencil without her consent. Explains Brooke’s attorney, Alex Weingarten of Venable LLP, ‘This is an egregious violation of Brooke’s rights, which we will litigate vigorously to vindicate.'”

The “Brooke S” brow product is currently available at retailers including JCPenney, Sephora and Nordstrom.

Shields wants damages from Charlotte Tilbury, and for the brand to pull the pencil from stores.
