Tribeca crowd ‘enthralled’ by Tracy Edwards doc

The Tribeca Film Festival boasts its share of movie stars — but a surprise hero had viewers enthralled.

At the premiere of “Maiden” — a rousing doc about Tracy Edwards, who skippered the first-ever all-female crew in a grueling 32,000-mile boat race around the world, braving 50-foot waves and transfixing the sailing world in the ’80s — attendees loudly cheered at the finale.

And at the Cinema Society bash for the Sony Pictures Classics film at The Water Club, the room applauded when Edwards arrived.

Gerard Butler admitted to being smitten, and Edwards was smitten right back upon meeting the hunky actor.
