Remy Ma arrested over alleged assault of ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ star

Rowdy rapper Remy Ma was charged with assault Wednesday night for allegedly slugging a “Love & Hip Hop” castmate last month at an Irving Plaza benefit concert, in what could be a violation of her parole in a 2007 shooting.

Ma, 38, of The Bronx, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, turned herself in to the 13th Precinct station house in Manhattan.

She was charged with third-degree assault during a Wednesday evening arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court.

Reality-TV star Brittney Taylor told cops last month that Ma punched her in the right eye while they were at the “Pretty Lou Benefit Concert” at Irving Plaza on April 16.

Taylor, an up-and-coming rapper herself, was treated for the shiner at Mount Sinai Hospital.

The women were both on season eight of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: New York,” but Taylor’s lawyer, Sanford Rubenstein, said this wasn’t a made-for-TV tiff.

“This arrest demonstrates how serious this matter is, it is real life and not reality-TV entertainment,” he said.

In an interview with the outlet Hot New Hip Hop, Taylor said the fight broke out backstage when she told Ma she’d saved Ma’s step-daughter, Dejanae, from a man who had attacked her over spring break.

“She [Ma] was like, ‘That’s not what I heard,’ and she punched me in the face,” Taylor said.

But Ma’s lawyer, Dawn Florio, said in court that the brawl could not have gone down as Taylor claims, because Ma, who performed in the show, was home at the time.

“The complainant is a liar. My client did not touch her,” Florio said. “This is clout chasing at the highest level.”

The hip-hop hellion has 90 days left on parole for nearly shooting to death her ex-pal, Makeda Barnes-Joseph, in a 2007 squabble over money.

Ma spent six years in the slammer for the incident and was paroled in 2014.

She was released Wednesday on $1,500 bail and declined to comment as she walked out of court holding hands with her rapper-hubby, Papoose, and flanked by longtime mentor, Fat Joe.

Her next court date is May 24.
