‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star wants more men in film’s sequels

From Column A and Column B come two more “Crazy Rich Asians” sequels. Maybe three. Michelle Yeoh wants more gents in them. Me too! (pardon the expression).

Meanwhile, there’s more of her kung foolery: “Master Z: Ip Man Legacy” opens this weekend.“It’s very intense.

“Director Woo-ping Yuen gave me physical and mental challenges. You don’t know who you’re fighting until you get on the set.

“They choreograph right there and then. No rehearsal. It’s a real adrenaline rush.

“At night, you climb into bed counting the bruises.

“I use dance as a weapon. I call it the ‘Michelle Yeoh fighting style.’ ”The former Bond girl wants back again, “this time as a baddie.”

She also wants to be in NYC and “pounding Madison Avenue pavement,” then going to dinner at Daniel Boulud’s restaurants.

Hooking it up

A moment to compliment my great city. Officials now consider decriminalizing prostitution.

Rubbing, tugging and dangling one’s ding-a-ling may soon become legalized.

I mean, that’s providing you don’t smoke, which is basically against the law. Watching over us, our cast iron Statue of Liberty might turn to stone.

‘Prom’ night for rights

Emmy, Golden Globe, Peabody winner Ryan Murphy held a benefit performance of “The Prom.” His drumbeat: “LBGTQ rights are human rights. Growing up in an Indiana cornfield, I was not allowed to take my boyfriend to my prom.” Big cheers.

Young people hugged similar young people. His second melody: “Tired of bad news and Trump, change hearts, minds and votes.” Big cheers.

Ryan wore silver turn-up shoes. Females sat in huge hats. An anxious company manager darted in and out 12 times. The cast in skimpy clothes came out in rain to pose. Leading lady Beth Leavel: “A turkey burger’s waiting for me inside.” A pro photographed everyone passing by. Who’s he shooting for? “Nobody.”

Nothing resembled my last prom, which was back when the El was a nickel and Biden hugged only his mother.

Odds & ends

Channing Tatum reportedly said, when talking about Amanda Bynes, his co-star in “She’s the Man” and who takes credit for discovering him: “I thank her every day” . . . WILL Smith once said: “I’ve been shot at a few times. Never got me but bullets hit my car. Coming from the inner city and going out to concerts and parties like I did, no big surprise.”

Some peppy penguins

Sunday Disneynature screens “Penguins,” hosted by Dr. Jane Goodall and Ed Helms from “The Office” and the “Hangover” movies.

Coming-of-age story. Steve, an Adélie penguin, joins thousands of fellow males in the icy Antarctic. A quest for a nest, a life partner and to make baby penguinlets. Not easy. He’s targeted by killer whales, leopard seals and lousy weather.

Polar experts, immersed in ice, on land and underwater, captured the footage over three years. And we’ll see it in Imax. Camerawork took 900 days. Two weeks just to reach certain areas. Winds at 150 mph, Antarctic temperatures dropping to minus-40.

Toughest habitat on the planet. Listen, not all penguins are created equal. The Adélie is the most characterful. Disney calls the mellow emperor penguins “California surfers,” and Adélie penguins “New York City taxi drivers.” Feisty. They have attitude.
