John Legend gets swim lesson from Olympian Ryan Lochte

His head’s under water but he’s breathing fine — thanks to an Olympian.
John Legend teamed up with Ryan Lochte, the second-most-decorated swimmer in Olympic history, for a private lesson just two months after revealing he “can’t really swim.”
The “All of Me” singer posted a video on his Instagram Stories Monday that read, “Swimming with Ryan Lochte in my backyard.”
Lochte, 34, reposted the clip of the pair doing a freestyle stroke, saying, “Not a bad way to start my week.”
“Swimming with @johnlegend giving him some swim tips and getting him ready for 2020 Olympics haha!,” the 12-time Olympic medalist added.
Lochte’s wife, Kayla Rae Lochte, joked, “Now you need some singing lessons.”
Legend, 40, tweeted in January that he had just taken his first lesson ever since he was 5, adding, “My dad learned in his 60’s so I feel like I’m ahead of schedule.”
