Buster Poindexter is headed back to Café Carlyle, Tuesday to April 13, we’re told.
Poindexter is, of course, the lounge lizard alter ego of New York Dolls legend David Johansen.
Page Six first reported in 2013 that it was promoter Ron Delsener’s idea to “bring rock ’n’ roll to the Carlyle.”
The show was such a hit (a Post critic said, “for 90 minutes the room was the hippest place in town”) that the “Hot Hot Hot” singer is now, “one of the most revered artists to grace Café Carlyle,” according to the venue.
