Us Weekly editor-in-chief out after just 6 months

Was she Chiu’d up and spit out?

Page Six has learned that Alexis Chiu, the tabloid veteran who was hired to head Us Weekly after it was purchased by AMI, is already out of the job after just six months.

It’s unclear if she stepped down or was pushed out of the position, but sources said the move seems to have happened while Chiu was on vacation.

Page Six exclusively revealed in September that Chiu was named to the top job at Us following a flurry of moves at the title since 2017, when AMI bought it from Wenner Media.

Chiu was previously deputy editor at In Touch.

Neither AMI nor Chiu got back to us.
