Gigi and Bella Hadid’s sister debuts ‘famous last name’ jacket

It’s good to be a Hadid.

Following in the fashionable footsteps of her supermodel half-sisters Gigi and Bella, Alana Hadid designs her own line, La Detresse, and recently released a collection of tie-dyed pieces including a denim jacket with the words “famous last name” embroidered across the back.

The topper retails for $620 and is made of hand-dyed Japanese denim. It also comes in a pink color as well as dark denim, and there’s even an inside-out version for sale.

Gigi took to Instagram on Tuesday to promote her sister’s designs to her nearly 50 million followers. “My sis made this!” she captioned a photo of herself wearing tie-dyed shorts and a matching T-shirt from the collection.

Alana has kept a relatively low profile compared to her world-famous sisters. She began her career in Los Angeles as a stylist and personal shopper, later dabbling in the modeling world before launching her first label, Current Moji. In addition to La Detresse, she also runs sunglass brand Hadid Eyewear.
