Brie Larson can’t stop channeling her onscreen alter ego, Captain Marvel.
The 29-year-old actress ditched the Valentino couture cape she wore in London in favor of a gown with a little more glitz for the Los Angeles premiere of her new superhero film on Monday.
The Oscar winner arrived on the red carpet wearing a custom Rodarte slip dress with a beaded and sequined tulle overlay covered in sparkly, white eight-point stars, a clear nod to the symbol her character wears on her suit.
Larson’s stylist Samantha McMillen paired the look with “Double Meteorite” ($177) and “Meteorites Phalanx” ($86) rings from the masters of faux jewels, APM Monaco. The star also sported Sydney Evan pave three starburst statement earrings ($9,000) and Graziela Gems starburst and shooting starburst stud earrings ($1,490 and $1,700, respectively).
But the real pièce de résistance of the whole outfit was Larson’s custom Jimmy Choo strappy sandals, which featured bedazzled gold stars at the ankles and small, glittering rhinestones across the straps.
