Hudson Yards — the West Side’s $20 billion real estate development — is set to open with a bang this month after six years of construction.
We hear Anderson Cooper will attend the official opening festivities March 15, walking through artist Thomas Heatherwick’s stair-filled, 150-foot-tall honeycomb-shaped sculpture, “Vessel.”
A March 14 celebration in advance will feature hometown talent such as DJ Paul Sevigny, and dance collectives Waffle NYC and Syncopated Ladies.
Stores include Neiman Marcus and Cartier, and restaurants by Thomas Keller and José Andrés.
