Jason Momoa supports the savvy Girl Scout who used his image to sell cookies — as long as he gets a few freebies.
“I love Girl Scout cookies,” Momoa, 39, told Entertainment Tonight at the 2019 Oscars. “I’m just, like, waiting to get some free ones. I’d love some.”
On February 13, Charlotte Holmberg, a fifth-grader from Colorado, rebranded the chocolate-caramel-coconut Samoas as “Momoas.” The business strategy worked because they quickly sold out.
But even though the “Aquaman” star’s photo was used to sell Samoas, Momoa said he actually prefers a different kind.
“I want the shortbread, and then you’ve got to put that in the freezer,” he said. “That’s the best way.”
His wife, Lisa Bonet, who was beside him wearing a matching custom Karl Lagerfeld design, then joked, “He just wants his cut.”
“No, I want my shortbread cookies!” Momoa reiterated.
