Ariana Grande hangs with ex-boyfriend Ricky Alvarez

Looks like she really is “so f–king grateful for her ex.”

Ariana Grande was spotted taking a stroll with her former boyfriend Ricky Alvarez in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood on Tuesday.

While Alvarez kept it casual in a beanie and sneakers, the “Imagine” singer was wearing a hooded Fendi puffer jacket, thigh-high black boots, and unusually, a black surgical mask over her mouth — perhaps to fight the elements as she recovers from a bad case of bronchitis. 

While the duo’s public outing sparked dating rumors, Grande took to Twitter to clarify that she and the backup dancer were just friends.

“Spoiler for the rest of this year/probably my life: [I’m dating] no one,” she said on Wednesday.

Alvarez, who was mentioned in her “thank u, next” song with the lyrics “wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh,” and the 25-year-old pop star were briefly linked in summer 2015.

Since their split, Grande’s dating life has been rocky. In spring, she split from long-term boyfriend Mac Miller and quickly got engaged to “SNL” comedian Pete Davidson in June. They called off their engagement nearly four months later. During their short engagement, news broke of Miller’s death after an apparent drug overdose.
