Nicole Kidman’s daughters to appear in ‘Big Little Lies’

Season 2 of “Big Little Lies” will be a family affair for Nicole Kidman.

The actress, who stars and executive produces HBO’s award-winning series, revealed Tuesday on “Ellen” that daughters Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, 7, will make cameo appearances in the forthcoming season.

“They were extras in ‘Big Little Lies,’ which I’ve never told anyone,” Kidman, 51, divulged.

Kidman’s children, whom she shares with husband Keith Urban, aren’t the only new faces in the cast. Oscar winner Meryl Streep joined the show earlier this year.

“We got lucky. She signed on without having read any script,” Kidman shared. “She was like, ‘I want to be in the coven.'”

Streep, 69, is set to appear as Mary Louise Wright, the mother of Alexander Skarsgard’s late Perry, who — spoiler alert — perished during the show’s first season.

“Concerned for the well-being of her grandchildren following her son’s death, Mary Louise arrives in Monterey searching for answers,” according to HBO.

Kidman portrays Celeste Wright, Perry’s widow and the mother of their two children.

The new season is expected to premiere in 2019.
