The former television host, 40, who told Page Six this week that she was heading to Greece for a traditional wedding celebration 10 months after getting hitched in New York, took to Instagram to explain why it was so special.

“I alway wanted to return to Greece and do our wedding here, Greece means so much to us, and our village and our roots,” she explained in a selfie video. “My friends said we don’t need wedding planners, we have friends and we all love you and we want to help you.”

Sources confirmed to US Weekly on Saturday that the two have exchanged vows.

Menounos, who had a brain tumor removed in 2017 and has been open about her recovery, got married in Times Square on New Year’s Eve in a surprise ceremony to 50-year-old Undergaro, her boyfriend of 20 years. He is a TV writer and producer.

She documented her time in Greece on her Instagram story which included scenes from the village where her father grew up and her time getting glam for the ceremony.

Menounos wore a Celia Kritharioti gown made from silk organza with hand-painted flowers and veil made from silk tulle, according to the designer’s Instagram, which showed a snap of her dress fitting.

She told us on Tuesday that she will be married in the church that her family helped build when she was little and also mentioned that she hopes the second wedding will bring her and Undergaro back to newlywedded bliss.

“We were so mushy gushy,” she said of their lives after they were married on New Year’s Eve. “We would wake up every day and he would be like, ‘Good morning, wife,’ and I would be like, ‘Good morning, husband.’”
