Kanye West supports abolishing amendment that outlaws slavery

Kanye West said Sunday that America should abolish the constitutional amendment that outlaws slavery — just minutes after receiving praise from President Trump about the rapper’s performance on “Saturday Night Live.”

West, who went on a pro-Trump rant during the closing of the “SNL” season premiere, tweeted the bizarre message along with an image of himself wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat while sitting on a plane.

“This represents good and America becoming whole again,” he wrote.

“We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs. We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love.”

Earlier, West received praise from the president for his performance and support.

“Word is that Kanye West, who put on a MAGA hat after the show (despite being told ‘no’), was great,” Trump tweeted, while admitting he did not watch the program. “He’s leading the charge!”

West has previously said during an interview that slavery “sounds like a choice.”He later apologized.
