Luann de Lesseps wants to take her cabaret show international

Luann de Lesseps is ready to make her comeback on the next season of “The Real Housewives of New York”.

After her recent stint in rehab, “Luann has been doing great,” an insider told Page Six on Thursday. “Luann is focusing on rebuilding herself after becoming sober. She’s really enjoying taking care of herself and clean eating. She just started filming for next season and so far so good!”

De Lesseps, 53, has been filming for two weeks thus far and is excited to rejoin the cast after missing the “RHONY” Season 10 reunion taping in July. Bethenny Frankel said at the time that she helped de Lesseps’ friends stage an intervention for her and she checked herself into rehab shortly after. Still, she was back to the cabaret stage just weeks later.

“Luann is really enjoying starring in her own one-woman cabaret show,” our insider said, noting that she recently met with Barbra Streisand’s director at The Bluebird Restaurant about moving her cabaret show internationally.

Page Six previously reported she wanted to take “The Countess and Friends” on a national tour, but now it seems that she has larger plans.

“Luann is really hoping to move the show to London and Australia next year and her team is already planning for it,” the insider said.

“It’s an exciting time to be around Luann. She’s happy, carefree, and all in with her new business opportunities unlike some of her co-stars who have countless failed businesses. She just purchased her new home upstate and is enjoying her time there on the weekends as well as her house in the Hamptons. Luann also has a new place downtown that she is also enjoying. We’re all really excited about the new Luann.”
