Julie Chen appears on ‘Big Brother,’ signs off using Moonves name

Julie Chen made her first TV appearance since the sex-scandal ouster of her husband, CBS boss Les Moonves, on the network’s “Big Brother” show — and defiantly signed-off by using her hubby’s last name on Thursday night.

Chen, who hosts the reality show, said: “From outside the ‘Big Brother’ house … I’m Julie Chen Moonves. Good night.”

She normally signs off with just her born surname, Chen – the only moniker she’s used throughout her long CBS career.

Moonves, 68, stepped down as CEO of CBS after multiple women came forward to accuse him of inappropriate workplace conduct and sexual harassment.

Chen, 48, has taken a break from her daily gig on CBS’s “The Talk” since Moonves’ ouster.

They’ve been married for nearly 14 years, tying the knot less than a month after Moonves finalized his divorce from first wife Nancy Wiesenfeld.

Thursday night’s show of support on “Big Brother” might signal the couple sticking together.

A moving truck was spotted at their Southern California home bringing in packing supplies on Tuesday. They were spotted outside that day, with Chen still wearing her wedding ring.
