Charlie Sheen is seeking to slash his child support payments to ex-wives Brooke Mueller and Denise Richards, claiming he’s been blacklisted.
In court documents obtained by The Blast, Sheen, 52, argues that he has “been unable to find steady work, and [has] been blacklisted from many aspects of the entertainment industry.”
Sheen currently pays Richards, 47, $20,000 a month in child support for daughters Sam and Lola, while 40-year-old Mueller gets a whopping $55,000 monthly for sons Bob and Max.
The actor says he’s had a “significant reduction” in his earnings and has less than $10 million to his name, with millions of dollars in various debts, including to his lawyers, pool and gardening services, a mortgage and a cool $5 million to the IRS.
While $10 million is nothing to sneeze at for most people, Sheen took home $1.8 million per episode of “Two and a Half Men” before he was fired.
In August 2016, Sheen reduced his child support payments to Richards from $55,000 to $20,000.
Sheen previously filed paperwork in March 2016 to reduce his child support payments, claiming his income had dropped drastically after selling his profit participation rights to “Two and a Half Men” for $27 million.
At the time, Sheen alleged that monthly income went from an estimated $600,000 to $167,000 after the sale.
He also claimed to have had $12 million in various debts at the time, with much of them being attributed to legal fees from a slew of lawsuits related to his HIV diagnosis that Sheen insisted were “shakedowns.”
Sheen’s most recent work was an appearance in Lil’ Pump’s “Drug Addicts” music video. He is slated to appear in three documentaries set for release in 2018.
A hearing for Sheen’s child support woes is slated for September.
