Ten thousand fans bought tickets; VIP attendees and retired and current players included Jennifer Lopez with Alex Rodriguez, Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada, Brett Gardner, Aaron Judge, Johnny Damon, Giancarlo Stanton and Didi Gregorius, as well as Saquon Barkley, Tiki Barber, Victor Cruz, Leslie Jones, Charles Oakley, Amar’e Stoudemire and Roc Nation’s Shawn “Pecas” Costner.
Spies said J.Lo was seen talking baseball with all the ex-Yankees and “she held her own; she really knows her stuff.”
Former ace closer Rivera was overheard saying he couldn’t wait to hit in the game.
“He was saying, ‘That’s the only reason I am playing!’ ” a pal told Page Six. “He said, ‘I never got to hit!’ ” Rivera was the game’s MVP, along with power attorney Joe Tacopina.
