The Swiss Institute threw private events this week to show VIPs its new 7,500-square-foot Annabelle Selldorf building on St. Marks Place.
Institute director Simon Castets hosted a dinner on Thursday for a mix of gallerists, artists, collectors and curators including Paula Cooper, Lucas Zwirner, Wade Guyton, C. Spencer Yeh, Melissa Schiff, Sarah Arison and Serge Becker.
Globe-trotting head of the board Maja Hoffmann could not make the dinner but was flying into town in time for a second private event Friday, we hear.
Hoffmann’s Luma Arles in France features a Frank Gehry tower opening in 2020.
