We’re told that Lauren stayed through the Can Do Awards Dinner at Cipriani Wall Street, which marked the Food Bank for New York City’s 35th anniversary.
“She looked somber at the table,” said a source, and she slipped out before the afterparty.
Lauren — who runs her own anti-hunger organization, FEED — told Page Six on the red carpet before the sad news came through: “I simply believe that food is a human right.”
