He just kept running.

Dylan Efron received a heartfelt welcome at the finish line of the Boston Marathon Monday, where his brother Zac Efron and a friend eagerly awaited his arrival. The “Greatest Showman” star filmed Dylan crossing the finish line and shared it on Instagram.

“‘What’s the point of all the finish lines we cross in life if there’s no one there to celebrate with?’ This used to get me down when I felt alone- There’s many reasons BTW❤😎🙏 – Ima be at every 🏁 with you from here until forever, Brother,” he captioned the emotional video. “Congrats @dylanefron #marathon #bostonstrong #bostonmarathon #letsgo.”

Twenty-six-year-old Dylan also took to Instagram to express his gratitude for his brother and his friends supporting him through his first Boston Marathon, sharing a photo of himself just before he made it to Heartbreak Hill, a steep ascent outside the city before the 20-mile mark.

“Cold, windy, rainy… but what a memorable day. @zacefron and @coourtking waiting for me at the finish was all the motivation I needed,” he wrote.

Dylan finished with a time of 2:57:50.
