Steve Harvey tells all on Kardashian ‘Family Feud’ episode

The Kardashian-Jenner/West “Family Feud” taping sounds as dramatic as an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

The game show’s host, Steve Harvey, sat down with Ellen DeGeneres and finally told fans what went happened when Kendall Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kris’ mother MJ, Aunt CiCi and pal Jonathan Cheban faced off against against Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and three of Kanye’s cousins, in an episode set to air in May.

“They were supposed to play against the Paris Hilton family, the Hiltons against the Kardashians. The Hiltons canceled, so Kanye, who’s a big fan of ‘Family Feud,’ said, ‘I want to play,’” Harvey said. “So, he brought his family — people you don’t know, these cousins. They were just the best because they were just, like, ‘hood.”

“For the first time ever we put six people on one side,” he added. “Because the grandmother said — they told her she couldn’t play — and said, ‘Well, I dressed up to see Steve.’ And so we put her right next to Kris.”

“And the dude on the end, he was the extra,” Harvey said, referring to Kim’s BFF Cheban. “He was a lot.”

“Well he’s the makeup guy, right?” DeGeneres asked her audience, as they both had no clue who Cheban was.

Harvey said that Cheban had flown in the night before to tape the show — as Page Six reported in February — and producers “felt sorry” for him and let him play too. We previously reported that Cheban had a meltdown backstage.

“Kanye was the best ‘Family Feud’ celebrity panelist we’ve ever had on the show … Kanye smiled!” Harvey said.

Meanwhile, his wife Kim, 37, “didn’t know nothing” but was extremely competitive with a then-pregnant Khloé (who just welcomed daughter True Thompson to the brood).

Page Six reported that Paris declined to participate in the “Family Feud” competition because she’s “a businesswoman building a brand and she’s busy planning a wedding” to actor Chris Zylka.
