A bromance is brewing between Kanye West and Lamar Odom.
On Sunday, in an unexpected return to Twitter, West, 40, tweeted that one of his favorite memories was in February 2016, when he marched into Madison Square Garden for his fashion show with Odom by his side, months after the NBA star’s near-fatal overdose at a brothel.
“Glad I could be there 4 u bro like u came thru 4 me,” Odom, 38, responded on Twitter on Monday. “It was a big stage 2 be on after everything I went thru but it was worth it @KanyeWest.”
The pair’s friendly exchange on social media comes on the heels of drama surrounding Odom’s ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian, and her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.
The pair welcomed a child last week and named her True.
Despite the celebration of a baby, Thompson’s alleged cheating has taken over much of the media’s attention.
Odom and Kardashian were on-and-off for several years before officially divorcing in 2016.
