When the cast of Stanley Tucci‘s new movie, “Final Portrait,” couldn’t make it to the premiere — he invited his A-list friends instead.

At the Guggenheim to see the film about artist Alberto Giacometti played by Geoffrey Rush were Meryl Streep, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Elvis Costello, mogul Leon Black, author André Aciman, and Laura Prepon and Ben Foster.

Joked Tucci, “I was very lucky to work with a bunch of really wonderful people . . . most of whom aren’t here tonight.”

Rush was in Australia, while co-star Armie Hammer’s filming in New Orleans. A reception followed at top gallery Lévy Gorvy.
