Buzzy new film “Love, Simon,” about a gay high-schooler, is being compared to cult-classic John Hughes films of the ’80s.
So the film’s cast was blown away by surprise guest, “The Breakfast Club” and “Pretty in Pink” star Molly Ringwald at a Cinema Society screening.
Others at the showing of the romantic flick, sponsored by dating app Wingman, included Ben Platt, Josh Henderson and Jack Antonoff, who has kept quiet about his love life since splitting from Lena Dunham.
