Hollywood stars and execs toasted PR power player Mara Buxbaum at a private 50th birthday bash over the weekend in LA, Page Six spies said.
Making toasts were Sean Penn, Casey Affleck and Jake Gyllenhaal as well as Buxbaum’s powerhouse attorney husband, Mathew Rosengart.
A guest at the Brentwood soiree for 125 said: “They all spoke about Mara’s brains and fierce loyalty. Mathew read a toast from [Oscar-winning] ‘Manchester by the Sea’ filmmaker Kenneth Lonergan, who was in New York. Affleck teased Mathew on his delivery of Lonergan’s words as a lawyer rather than a thespian.” Also celebrating were Michael Mann, Winona Ryder, Sue Kroll, Jon Feltheimer and Rob Morrow.
