Julia Stiles and husband Preston J. Cook are new parents.
The actress, 36, announced the arrival of their first child, named Strummer Newcomb Cook, via Instagram on Tuesday. The baby was born on Oct. 20.
In her social media announcement, Stiles thanked the “doctors, nurses and staff at Mount Sinai” for helping bring “utter joy” into her family’s life.
Stiles revealed her pregnancy in June, and tied the knot with Cook in what she called a “shotgun wedding” in September.
