New York film-set legend Radioman is having a tough time, we’re told.
The unlikely insider — known for eccentrically hanging around movie sets and appearing in films such as “The Departed” and “Zoolander” as well as once attending the Oscars with Whoopi Goldberg — has lost his home.
“He had to leave the apartment he’s had for over a decade due to a new owner who tore the building down . . . Now he’s bouncing from long-stay hotel to YMCA,” Paul Fischer, a pal who produced a 2012 doc about him, told us.
“The [movie] community helped him out hugely back in 1996, when getting him cameo roles and a SAG card helped him off the streets.”
He’s hoping they’ll help again, and a Patreon.com page has been set up.
Radioman, a k a Craig Castaldo, is so named for the boomboxes he regularly wears around his neck.
