Why Emma Stone looks naked next to Hillary Clinton

Emma Stone is still with her.

The actress — who stopped by “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” to promote her latest film, “Battle of the Sexes” — was overjoyed to meet former presidential candidate and fellow guest��Hillary Clinton.

“Who was that? Who was that before,” Stone, 28, joked when she walked out following Clinton’s appearance. “This is a tough act to follow. That was unbelievable. Oh my god.”

Once the “La La Land” actress calmed down, she thanked Stephen Colbert, who recently hosted the Emmy Awards, for his good sense in scheduling.

“Thank you for having me on the same night as Hillary Clinton,” Stone exclaimed.

The host, 53, then showed the audience Stone’s backstage photo with Clinton, who was on the show to promote her book, “What Happened.” In the snapshot, the pair is holding up t-shirts with the score of the infamous tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs that “Battle of the Sexes” centers around.

“Can I also point something out beyond this very cool photo? I get a chance to meet Hillary Clinton, which is unfathomable and incredible, and I look like I’m nude … You had one shot,” Stone chastised herself.

“It does look like you’re topless,” Colbert conceded.

Stone, who revealed that she moved to L.A. when she was just 15, also discussed her struggle with anxiety.

“I was a very, very, very anxious child and I had a lot of panic attacks. I benefited in a big way from therapy,” Stone revealed. “[Acting] helped me so much. Improv helped me so much. I still have anxiety to this day. Not panic attacks, knock on wood.”

When Colbert disclosed that he had a panic attack of his own on November 8th, the “Easy A” star was quick to second that comment.

“Listen so did I,” Stone lamented.
