Melania tries to reinforce stance on cyber bullying in UN speech

First Lady Melania Trump on Wednesday called on the international community to better protect children and spoke out against online bullying.
During a speech at a UN luncheon, she said, “We must turn our focus right now to the message . . . they [children] are exposed to on a daily basis through social media, the bullying, the experience online and in person,” days after President Trump retweeted a GIF of Hillary Clinton being hit with a golf ball.

Melania — standing out in a high-fashion hot-pink Delpozo dress — was seated at a table between Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and France’s first lady, Brigitte Macron.

Guests at the power luncheon also included first ladies from Turkey, South Africa and Finland, as well as Melania’s adviser Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Karen LeFrak, Julia Koch, Merryl Tisch and Deborra-Lee Furness.
