Terry Lee Repp, who has a history of allegedly stalking Beckinsale since 2016, was arrested inside the Tampa Convention Center Thursday ahead of the actress’ appearance at Tampa Bay Comic Con, according to a statement released by Tampa police over the weekend. Repp, 45, was charged with stalking and booked into Orient Road Jail.

“Repp has a history of following and harassing [Beckinsale] and came to Tampa in an effort to continue the harassing behavior,” the statement read, noting previous incidents in Utah and Texas last year. “During [the Utah] encounter, Repp touched [Beckinsale’s] back and made a statement to [Beckinsale] in reference to stabbing her … Repp appears to have an irrational obsession with [Beckinsale] and has traveled across the country in an effort to harass her.”

The statement continued, “Repp’s actions caused the victim substantial emotional distress and caused her to fear for her safety.”

The “Underworld” star, 44, didn’t mention the incident during her Q&A.

Beckinsale’s rep didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
