Chaos in the Hamptons over everything-for-$5 sale

Well-heeled women got into a scrum at Super Saturday in Water Mill, LI, when French luxury children’s brand Bonpoint marked everything down to just $5.

“Some of the stuff costs more than $300,” says a spy. “It was a great deal, but it was mayhem.”

Two security guards stood outside, stopping the glossy crowds from entering, before two more guards came to calm the masses.

“They were encouraging people to just buy a whole box to move things along,” the source continues.

One of the men watching the Hamptons hostility commented, “It’s like a bar brawl, except with women in designer clothes.”

The high-end brand is known for its “kiddie couture” runway shows during Paris fashion week, with coverage running in everything from Vogue to InStyle.

This year’s show at Galerie de la Minéralogie et de Géologie was attended by Alessandra Ambrosio and Coco Rocha.

Spotted at the brand’s sample sale in the city last year were Hugh Jackman’s wife Deborra-Lee Furness and Kelly Rutherford.

All proceeds from Super Saturday benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance.
