Jada Pinkett Smith doesn’t have time to miss her kids

Jada Pinkett Smith‘s children may have left the nest, but that hasn’t stopped them from checking in regularly.

“It’s funny, they’re not around but they are,” Jada revealed with Haute Living. “I don’t even have time to miss them.”

With son Jaden, 18, pursuing his acting career and daughter Willow, 16, focused on music and modeling, Jada, 45, shared her talented teens aren’t afraid to admit they’ve missed mom and dad Will Smith.

“Willow loves to call me every day, and even Jaden, when he’s away on set, still needs to see Will and I when he gets homesick,” she said.

The admission from Jada comes months after her 48-year-old husband disclosed their hands-off parenting approach was a misstep.

“Yeah, I think it may have been a mistake,” Will said on BBC Radio 1Xtra last February.

“Jaden is 100 percent fearless, he will do anything,” he added. “So as a parent it’s scary, it’s really terrifying — but he is completely willing to live and die by his own artistic decisions and he just doesn’t concern himself with what people think.”
