George Lopez called in sick to New York.
He was scheduled to hit the town this week to appear on “The View” and “Late Night With Seth Meyers.”
But an insider told us: “He’s taking a break from traveling after being on the road. He injured his knee and he didn’t go to New York because of his health, but he’s fine.”
There were rumblings at ABC that Lopez canceled “The View” to avoid addressing a lewd comment he’d made to one of his fans on social media regarding Ivanka Trump.
But a Lopez source said, “He’s still doing press in LA,” and he’ll reschedule the New York appearances.
Reps for ABC and Lopez did not comment.
