Kendall Jenner’s jewelry theft was inside job: cops

Police believe that Kendall Jenner’s jewelry theft from her Hollywood home was an “inside job.”

While initial reports suggested that the $200,000 theft was burglary, new details have emerged that the 21-year-old was in the house having a party with friends at the time, so is likely to know the thief.

According to TMZ, she called the police at 1 a.m. Thursday after she noticed the jewels were missing from her bedroom and was scared that someone was still in her house.

When cops arrived, Jenner told them she had been having a party with a group of friends and at one point an alarm had gone off but she had thought nothing of it.

A police source also revealed that Jenner left her friends in her house at around midnight and returned an hour later to find her jewelry box open and immediately called the police.

The LAPD now believes that this was an inside job and that a guest stole from her.

Jenner’s sister Kim Kardashian would surely have been upset to hear the news as she continues to move on from her horrific ordeal in Paris last year.

The star was left “badly shaken up” after thieves tied her up and held her at gunpoint during Paris Fashion Week.

The gang is believed to have entered the plush apartment on Paris’ Rue Tronchet around 2.30 a.m. Oct. 3, 2016.

Dressed as police, sources say, the men were unwittingly allowed into the complex by a concierge.

After handcuffing the porter, they made their way up to Kardashian’s flat, where she was sleeping.

They broke in and then two of them held a gun on the reality TV star, before also tying her hands and locking her in a bathroom.

Chilling crime scene pictures revealed the aftermath of the robbery along with video of the alleged robbers.

The aftermath of the robbery in October is featured in the new season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” where the reality star opens up about her ordeal.

More than $10 million worth of jewelry is believed to have been nabbed during the attack — including a $6 million jewelry box and one 20-carat ring worth $4.3 million given to her by husband Kanye West.
