Tamron Hall set to walk the red carpet at Viennese Opera Ball

Former “Today” show host Tamron Hall, who abruptly left over the hiring of Megyn Kelly, was expected to walk the red carpet at the formal Viennese Opera Ball at the Waldorf Astoria on Friday night.

Special guests included Charlie Chaplin’s granddaughter Kiera Chaplin (along with the epically titled Austrian Archduke Dominic von Habsburg-Lothringen) and Dina Merrill’s grandchildren Cole Rumbough and his sister Kiera Rumbough, making her debut into society along with 15 other young ladies.

The ball’s chairs include Silvia Frieser and Michael Pecnik.

Meanwhile, socialite Laine Siklos planned to make a grand entrance into the ballroom in a horse-drawn carriage with her two young children, Anabelle and Henry Siklos.

The horses were due to be brought up in the hotel’s enormous elevator, which once delivered Marlene Dietrich on a pink elephant to the same room.

The oldest white-tie ball in NY also celebrated the 150th anniversary of Johann Strauss’ Blue Danube waltz.
