“Scandal” star Joe Morton says the new season of the show will be fascinating, considering the current political climate.
Morton, who plays Olivia Pope’s father on the ABC hit series, told Page Six, “We are not mirroring what is going on in the real world, although we talk about many of the same things. What will become interesting over the course of the season [is] . . . to what extent will someone go to get what they want, especially when everyone is sniffing around power.”
As for playing a bad guy, “This is one my favorite roles . . . He is someone who cares [about] and loathes people at the same time. He is charming and aloof all at the same time.”
