Chris Martin sure knows how to spread holiday cheer.

The Coldplay frontman, 39, stopped by Crisis, a homeless shelter in London, on Tuesday night.

“That moment when Coldplay’s Chris Martin drops into the Crisis at Christmas shelter, with no fuss, no fanfare and no press, to help make tea and coffee and also play guitar so the guests can have a sing song. Thank you for coming down and getting stuck in,” an attendee wrote on Instagram.

The singer surprised guests with an acoustic guitar performance of “Last Christmas” to pay tribute to the late George Michael, who died on Christmas Day at age 53.

Michael was very charitable himself. Fox News reported the singer had quietly given millions of dollars to charities that worked with children, cancer victims and those with AIDS.
