Two months after announcing their engagement, Lochte and Playboy model Kayla Rae Reid announced Wednesday that they’re going to be parents.
Perhaps pining for his pool days, the disgraced Olympic swimmer made the baby announcement with a romantic underwater shot.
“My Christmas gift came early this year, can’t wait for next year! Best news I’ve ever received,” he captioned the image.
Reid, 25, confirmed the surprise news, saying on social media, “Just when you think you have it all figured out, life always surprises you with blessings when least expect it. So excited to share this news with all of you! ❤️👶🏼😊

They reportedly started dating in March.
Over the summer, Lochte, 32, fell from grace after he lied about being robbed at gunpoint at the Rio Olympics.
