Sia and her husband of two years, Erik Anders Lang, have announced plans to split up.
“After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple, ” the couple said in a joint statement obtained from the singer’s rep. “We are, however, dedicated to remaining friends. There will be no further comment.”
The enigmatic chanteuse, 40, and the documentarian wed at her Palm Springs home in August 2014, just two months after going public with news of their engagement.
As with most aspects of the Australian singer’s personal life, details about the couple’s marriage are scant, but People points out that they were last photographed in public at a Spotify event in February.
